Ms. Martinez's Homework
Homework should be typed whenever possible.  Responses should be one-page long.  Always use allusions to the literature we are reading, including quotations.  Homework is due upon arrival to the classroom.  You should print out work before class or come to class early if you need to print.  Essays should follow the criteria laid out in the rubric.  Half a letter grade will be deducted for each day your essay is late.

All World Literature II students should finish Act III of Romeo and Juliet.  For each scene, choose a character and write a journal entry from that character's point of view.  You should consider the character's thoughts and feelings based on events in that scene.

Honors students are expected to experiment with the literary techniques we have discussed in their journal entry:  imagery, personification, metaphor, rhyme, couplet, juxtaposition.

These journal entries are due on Monday, March 29th.
