How to prepare for your college fair visit?
Students and parents should read as much as possible about the schools in which they are interested in before attending the fair. Use your Naviance Family Connection or visit the college website ahead of time to familiarize yourself with the facts of interest. College representatives are usually more eager to discuss their institution with students who are somewhat knowledgeable about the school.
Important points for students to think about:
· Academic majors and academic goals
· Geographic preference
· Size of school, financial guidelines
· Scholarship Opportunities
· Extra-Curricular Activities
