Mission Title: Public Affairs Officer (PAO)

Esha Sharma was born in a state where dreams of flying come true, Florida.

She is her parents’ first born and a gift they gave each other on their second wedding anniversary. Her name Esha means God’s beloved. Her birthday is on October 13th 1998, and she was born in Jacksonville, Florida.

Esha loves to travel! Her dream is to spend one month with her grandparents in New Delhi, India. Meeting new people, visiting family, seeing new places, and staying at hotels is so much fun for her.

Playing soccer, piano with Patti Bogart, dancing, and teasing her little brother Jay is what she loves to do. Esha loves to play soccer because she likes to be aggressive, and likes to kick the soccer ball far. Esha thinks being in this mission is the most singular thing that has happened to her this year.

Some of her accomplishments are being in Student Council, Artistically Talented, getting 3rd place in the science fair, being in editorial board, playing violin, singing in chorus, and being in this program.

Esha has been in Columbus since first grade and has been in the Young Astronaut program ever since.

Some of the things she wants to accomplish in this mission, Luna Redux, are to work as a team and be a part of the spacecraft crew.

The person Esha admires most is her father because he has become very successful and has an uncanny ability to be almost always right.
