Mission Title: Lunar Module Pilot

Jessica Marie Magnoli was born October 30, 1998 in Greenwich, Connecticut. She is Italian and English (British).  Her hometown is Norwalk, Connecticut where she enjoys going to school, playing viola, cheerleading, and lacrosse.  She loves to cook, She loves animals (especially her dog Lola), reading and listening to music with her friends.  Her second hometown is Townshend, Vermont where she enjoys the outdoors and riding her ATV, snowmobile, and spending time with her family.  She has one older brother, named Joseph who was a Mission Specialist in the 2007 Mission “Janus 50”.  She hopes to follow in her brother’s footsteps and be a Mission Specialist just like him.

Distinguished student of Columbus Magnet School; new to Columbus in 2005 with ambitions to become a veterinarian.

Current member of the Safety Committee, Artistically Talented Program and Orchestra.  Two year member of the Editorial Board Committee elected in 3rd grade by Mrs. Williams.  1st place winner of the 3rd grade poem contest for Arboretum Day at CMS.

She likes being a Young Astronaut because she learns a lot about space and science with C in C.  She likes the workouts with Chief and XO.  She also likes being with her friends and learning together with them.  C in C makes learning fun!

Hard working and dedicated to the mission.  Has and easy going attitude and diplomatic approach to solving problems.  Responsible, smart and loves to look at the bright side of things.

The person who she admires most is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She admires him because he changed the way people lived. He had enough courage to say “This is not right, we need to do something about it” And he did.

The things she wants to accomplish are: having a safe and successful mission and to have fun and learn.
