There has been another emergency for Luna Redux!
A reserve water tank inside the command module has burst! Water, along with an unknown, and potentially dangerous gas, is flooding the command module, Columbia.
This is Public Affairs Officer, Marcus Garcia reporting.
Free floating water can negatively impact the delicate instruments aboard the spacecraft by shorting them out. Although the crew does not appear to be in immediate danger, if a solution is not found quickly, the mission will have to be aborted before the scheduled splashdown tomorrow morning.
There are very few details at this time, but all precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of the crew.
To repeat, a reserve water tank inside the command module, Columbia, has burst. The crew is currently safe, but the mission is in jeopardy.
