Dear Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to our new Marvin website. A committee of teachers has worked hard to get us up and running. As you can see, several of our teachers have also launched links to their own class pages. We hope that you find the information on the site helpful. For example, there are links to many on-line programs that your children use in class. The children should have usernames and passwords to enter the sites, but if you need help with this, contact your child’s teacher for that information.

There is also a calendar that lets you know when school events are scheduled. We will try to keep this as up-to-date as possible, but you should always follow backpack notices for special activities.

Spring is Finally Here!

All of us are happy to have the warmer weather here at last! We have many activities planned for the final three months of school, including Field Day, grade level trips and beach picnics. We do have a few warm weather reminders:

Flip-flops are NOT allowed at school. They are not safe for play, and children do go out to recess every good weather day.
Air conditioning is not yet turned on; when it is, I will notify you so that children can bring in a light sweater or jacket for the cool indoor temperatures.
We do not allow muscle-shirts, tops made from open netting or short-shorts. Tops must cover the midriff.
