WELCOME TO THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT
Welcome to the Norwalk High School Music Department!! We have an exciting year planned for our students, but first, let me introduce our two new teachers. Chris Rivera is a former Norwalk High School student who graduated in 1998. He then went on to major in Music Ed at WestConn and has received his masters at UConn. Jenn (Chieffalo) Burkhalter is our new Orchestra Director. She is also a graduate from Norwalk High School and majored in Music Ed. at Ithica College.
Both of these teachers were outstanding students of mine in Music Theory Class. You will probably recognize Chris because he has been my accompanist for a few years.
I am the new Music Department Chair and you can call me with any concerns.
