Hello and welcome to the Ponus Ridge Middle School website. It is my pleasure to welcome you to our website and tell you about our school. Ponus Ridge is a comprehensive middle school with a diverse student and faculty population. A total of 650 students attend Ponus Ridge. The certified and non-certified staff totals 80.

Our school operates on an academic team teaching concept. In addition to academic course offerings, students have the opportunity to explore related arts courses in foreign language, art, music, technology, computer science and family & consumer science. Students also have the opportunity to participate in after-school clubs and extramural activities such as football, floor hockey, basketball, volleyball and track & field.

The sixth and seventh grade has two teams each. The eighth grade consists of two and one-half teams. Each team is identified by a color?orange and green for grade six; red and purple for grade seven and blue, gold and silver for grade eight.
