A MESSAGE FROM THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

The 2011-2012 school year will surely be an exciting experience for everyone at Rowayton School. In the Fall, we have planned a harvest celebration in our Garden of Life. In addition, our PTA will host a "Wrap Party" in a yet to be disclosed location! An enjoyable time is certain to be had by everyone while raising funds for our school. More exciting events are also planned for the school year such as participation in a Sound Tigers game in March and of course we are continually planning for our annual Bingo Night, Heritage Dinner and our famous Rowayton School Spring Carnival.

Academically, we will focus on the the differentation of instruction in preparation for our transition to the Common Core standards. These standards are very rigorous and we are fortunate to have a dynamic group of teachers that are committed to helping our students achieve success.

As we progress throughout our school year, I encourage you and your child(ren) to stop by my office and share the exciting events that happened during your day. It is always a pleasure to hear stories about student growth and the togetherness of families. Your family is part of our extended family at Rowayton School and the more we get together the more we will grow and learn from each other.
