WELCOME TO THE ROWAYTON SCHOOL LIBRARY

Students come to the library once every 6 days. Books are borrowed on a 6 day basis. If a student needs more time to finish reading their book they may renew for another 6 days.

Students must return their book in order to borrow another book. If the book is lost or damaged they must reimburse the library for the purchase of another book.

When books are not returned the teacher gets a list of overdue books. If the book continues to be overdue an email or note home is sent.

It is the Norwalk Public School policy that all obligations must be met, including books to be returned or paid for, in order for the student to be promoted.

Internet Permission slips must be signed by a parent or guardian so students may use the Internet for educational and learning experiences. Without this permission the student may not participate in anything dealing with the Internet.
