Student Rules

1. Follow directions given by all adults the first time.

2. Keep all Hands, feet and objects to yourself.

3. Use appropriate language at all times.

4. Do not bring candy, gum, toys, electronic equipment or dangerous objects to school.

No skateboards, rollerblades or other rolling devices should be used inside the building. All bicycles should be locked in the bicycle racks.

Students who disobey the rules after being warned will have a phone call home by the teacher or Asst. Principal with appropriate consequences recommended.

Fighting will result in an immediate suspension. Children who bring real or toy weapons to the bus stop, on the bus and/or the school are suspended for 10 days and are referred to a superintendent's hearing. This is Board of Education policy.

Absenses

Please call the office in the morning when your child will be out sick. It is also necessary to send a note upon your childs return to class.
Telephone Calls to Teachers

All phone calls to teachers will be placed on their telephone voice mail to be

checked before the end of the day.
Early Dismissal

If a student must be released early for an appointment please send a note in to the teacher informing them of the time to be dismissed. Parents must come into the office to sign students out of the building before leaving.
Play Dates

Be sure to make play dates before the start of school. A note must be given to the teacher for a change of dismissal plans. Discussing with your child the change of dismissal will make for a smooth transition.
Field Trips
Every year classes attend curriculum related field trips outside the school grounds. In order for your child to participate on these trips a signed permission slip must be returned to the teacher.
Any parent driving for a field trip must be sure a current insurance affidavit is completed in the office prior to the trip.
