Physical Education
Physical education and, for that matter, all of education seeks to present a well-rounded program to prepare children to be responsible citizens. Physical education will help each child to achieve certain goals.

The physical education program will provide every child with the opportunity to develop a level of physical fitness to accommodate individual needs.

The physical education program will be structured so that each child can become competent in management of the body and can acquire useful physical skills.

The physical education environment will be such that children can acquire desirable social standards and ethical concepts.

In physical education, children will acquire safety skills and habits and develop an awareness of safety and respect to themselves and others.

Through physical education, children will be stimulated to seek participation in, and derive enjoyment from, recreation during their leisure time.

Major concepts from different sports will be taught in physical education class. During the development of individual skill we will always incorporate games and fitness. Through the variety of activities we will show the importance of physical fitness. Some type of physical activity should be encouraged in the home. Games are an integral part of the physical education program. Games offer children a chance to experience success and accomplishment. Games also give the opportunity to apply newly learned skills in a meaningful context. All activities will be structured age appropriate.
