Silvermine Elementary School

Volunteer Sign-Up 2009-2010

Did you know that ALL parents and guardians with children at
Silvermine Elementary are automatically members of the
Parents & Teachers Organization? WE ARE THE PTO!

 (Registro de Voluntarios en español)

The parent and teacher community is excited to build on the momentum of the last school year and continue working with our principal, Mrs. Ivette Ellis, to develop new ways for parents to be involved in the school life of their children.

There are many different opportunities to volunteer at Silvermine. Even if you only have a few hours or can only do one activity please volunteer this year. WE NEED YOUR HELP to enrich the school life for all our children!

Please print. Circle the best telephone # for primary contact:

SPECIAL TALENTS & NEW IDEAS

Do you have a special talent or have a great idea? Tell us below what you’d like to do at Silvermine. Please keep in mind that if you speak Spanish there are many ways to be involved with the school in this language.

We will only be successful if we take on activities that all of us believe in. Remember WE ARE THE PARENTS & TEACHERS ORGANIZATION!

I’d love to see the community of parents and teachers do the following (something not mentioned above), and I’ll help get it going and/or volunteer once it’s up and running:

I have a special talent the Parents & Teachers Organization may be interested in:

Return this form to the PTO information table at Open House on September 17th or return it to your child’s teacher. If you have any questions concerning any of these opportunities or any new ideas, please call Natalie Alonso at 203-354-2953 or email nalonso2@optonline.net or Kerry O’Neill at 203-847-2311 or email keoneill@optonline.net.

Parent and guardian involvement is the key to a great school, and together we can make a difference in our children’s lives. Thank you for volunteering your time this year!
